With ‘Affirmations’ tearing up festivals all summer, Girls of the Internet have pulled together a live version of the track, recorded live at Battery Studios. Originally released in July, the track started as a collaboration between Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge, and burgeoning UK soul sensation Sophie Faith. The track made waves throughout the summer, with its tender vocals and uplifting message, on top of Girls of the Internet’s signature deep house meets soulful disco sound. Tom has gathered his live band together in the eminent North London studios, with the addition of a full orchestral string section playing the infamous line, and vocalist Anelisa’s powerful delivery; Girls of the Internet present a very special live version of Affirmations to round the year off.
