Let’s dive deep inside Bonnie Drasko’s sparkling and bubbling music world.
His new single “Apnea” is colorfast Mediterranean blue guarantee.
The highly acclaimed original version being released on Beatscope’s first VA/compilation (BSM001), it was about time to deliver four different versions to be played at different times and occasions by picky DJs ! Another EP with Apnea remixes will come later as separate Beatscope release.
Bonnie Drasko is a DJ and producer from Empordà – real name is Marius Fabrega – who started DJing and producing music in 2004. One of his first public sessions took place at the Rachdingue discotheque, where he regularly performed as well as at festivals such as Vingt Sur Vingt. He was also the resident-DJ of the Sikim club (Empuriabrava) and played in many venues in northern Catalonia, as well as in southern France. As a producer, he was on Marendadisc’ artist roster, in connection Manuel Perez, with whom he later co-founded Beatscope Music. From 2009 to present, he has released tracks for labels such as Lace Recordings, Poolside Recordings, Biometric Music, Survivor Records, Audio Dualism and Dutch Sequencer Tracks (…) He has made several remixes for artists such as Mangotronique, Soul Traumer, Gert-Jan Kleyne, Reig & Wheeler or Pawel Kobak. Just like for his musical productions, Bonnie Drasko's DJ sets cover several styles from deep-house to techno, combining unstoppable melodies and rhythmic efficiency.
